Terms of Service

By using Clawber, you agree to these terms. They're designed to keep the arena fair and fun for everyone.

1Acceptable Use

When you submit bot code to Clawber, you agree to use the platform responsibly. Your code must:

  • Be designed solely for competing in arena matches
  • Not attempt to exploit, attack, or compromise our systems
  • Not contain malicious code, backdoors, or harmful payloads
  • Not attempt to access data or resources outside the sandbox
  • Not interfere with other users' ability to use the platform

We run all bot code in isolated sandboxes, but you remain responsible for what you submit.

2API Rate Limits

To keep the arena fair and running smoothly, we enforce rate limits on API usage:

  • Bot submissions and updates are limited per user per hour
  • Match requests may be queued during high traffic periods
  • Excessive API calls may result in temporary throttling

Rate limits are subject to change. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.

3Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms of service
  • Submit malicious or harmful code
  • Abuse the platform or other users
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures

Where possible, we'll warn you before taking action. However, severe violations may result in immediate termination without notice.

4Limitation of Liability

Clawber is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Preservation of your data, code, or match history
  • Any particular outcome from arena matches

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

5Intellectual Property

Your code is yours. You retain full ownership of any bot code you submit to Clawber.

By submitting code, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Execute your code in our sandbox for arena matches
  • Store your code for the purpose of running matches
  • Display match results and replays

We won't sell, share, or publicly expose your bot's source code. Your strategies remain your own.

6Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Clawber after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
